Pavati tells you that you are getting the best drift
boat made. Make sure you take a look at a PAVATI before you buy another drift boat.

The style of a PAVATI is unmistakable. It's also incomparable. We've been as much about breaking traditions as setting the bar. While the competition continuers to follow each other, we set trends with bold, new shapes, colors, designs and fine details to give our boats a distinct personality of there own. First Introduced in 2010, the Guardian drift boat has quickly become one of PAVATI's fastest selling Drifters. With lines like no other aluminum or fiberglass drifter, it's no mystery why. Add in the multiple patented features and options not available from anyone else, and you have a drift boat that's in a league of it's own.

PAVATI Engineers set out to build a boat that was tough -- SUPER tough. Our exclusive inner chine coupled with TWICE THE CHINE WELDS as any other aluminum drifter give us the ability and confidence to say we have the strongest boat on the market. From the Rogue River canyon to the middle fork of the Salmon River, from Alaska to New York, you can find the GUARDIAN drifter taking on the biggest waters and the biggest fish.

PAVATI'S PATENTED DRIFTER DOORS

Getting in and out of drift boats, a hazard? If you've been in a drift boat before, you already know this answer. It's cold and wet, you're wearing chest waders and stove up a little from sitting for a while. Bang! You hook up to a big steelhead and need to get out to land it! Right Now! When you finally get your poor old leg over the side, you slip on a mossy rock and, well you know the rest.

With a PAVATI, you simply open the door and step out. Fly fisherman get in and out of their drift boats pretty often to sneak up on that wily rainbow. A door allows you to turn and put your feet out first, testing the water depth and the solidity of your footing before you make that giant leap for mankind.

If you fly fish, you already know what we're talking about.

Grampa was getting to the point where he couldn't get in the boat anymore. "Why don't they put doors in these boats?" he said.

When Chuck decided to build drift boats, this was one of the first things he designed.

"I want everyone, young, old, or disabled to enjoy the fun and adventure of riding in a drift boat." says Chuck.

Ever get your foot caught trying to sling it over the side of a drift boat? Getting in or out can be embarrassing. Put a pair of chest waders on and it turns into a major feat. Add some moss on the river bottom and you have a potential disaster.

Do the doors leak? No. We use a marine grade weather seal around the doors. Plus, we install the doors above the water line. Only during choppy water conditions would water get high enough to come in the door. Most of us would have the door closed at that time. They don't leak. They're also a great spot to revive and/or release fish, wash your hand, or even relieve yourself.

PATENTED QUICK LOCK SEAT SYSTEM

The Quick-Lock Seat system is the easiest most customizable seat system available in ANY boat today-PERIOD.

In a matter of seconds, with no tools required, you can completely rearrange a PAVATI to adjust for weight and/or different fishing styles on the fly.

Move seats from side to side or from front to back to adjust weight for optimal balance and rowing comfort.

Add or remove seats to lighten the load or add an additional fisherman. Put a seat in the back and offset it to run a kicker motor. And it's not just the seats...

Reposition your foot rest exactly where you want it, add Heater systems, Tackle boxes, Rod holders and other accessories that all work with the same simple system.

An added bonus with the Quick-lock Seat System is the seats are much lighter than your ordinary old school bench row seat.

FIRST EVER TRUE FULL LEVEL FLOOR

PAVATI Introduced the first ever TRUE full level floor system on it's Warrior in 2009 -- Now it's standard on all of our boats.

Easily move from front to back without tripping or falling. Ever try walking up a flight of stairs while floating down a river? That's why PAVATI Marine's proprietary full level floors are exactly that - level from front to back. This gives you the safest, most stable fishing platform possible.

Don't be fooled - competitors might offer a "full level floor", but look close. Any other drifter advertising a full level floor has... a level Front floor, then a STEP down, then a level center floor, then another STEP up to the level rear floor.

FIRST AND ONLY REMOVABLE FLOORS

Just when you thought the floors couldn't get any better, we upped the ante.

PAVATI has the only removable floors in any drifter. The floors are held to our Honeycomb Rib system(tm) with a 3M Military Grade Velcro.

Drift boats will naturally accumulate dirt, sand, gravel, fish blood, smelly bait, and a mess of other unclean items with regular use. Other level floor systems are welded, riveted, or fiber glassed in. That makes it next to impossible to reach those hard to get to area's.

Combine PAVATI's "Quick-Lock" seat system with the EZ out floor system, and you get a boat that can be stripped down to the bare hull in under a minute. Hose out the garbage, throw the floors and seats back in, and your back in business.

No funny smells coming from this boat. An added bonus -- Pull the floors to run wires for an electric trolling motor or bilge, or run gas lines for your heater system.

BIG TIME STORAGE

PAVATI Marine's side trays do more than just add strength to the sides. They add much needed storage- and you can never have too much storage.

They are a great place for life jackets, a break down oar, fire extinguisher, extra layers of clothes, or whatever else you want to have out of the way but keep right at your fingertips.

Four built in cup holders and oversized top trays make for a great spot to store smaller items and fishing gear.

UP TO 12 CUP HOLDERS - STANDARD

"Why do you need so many cup holders in a drift boat?" Our customers say something a little different. They want more! Lures, sun block, scissors, pliers, bait scent, even a drink or two, the list goes on.

A place for everything. You'll love'em!

PATENTED LOCKING ANCHOR NEST

A lot of access roads to rivers aren't paved and if your anchor jumps out while youre going down a washboard road, you can expect damage to your boat and/or a lost anchor. Our patented anchor lock keeps your anchor in place without using bungee cords. We even added a couple of spots to secure your boat plugs. No more getting to the ramp to find out you lost a plug.

ADJUSTABLE FOOT RESTS

Most of your rowing power comes from your legs. So having your foot rest in the right place is critical. PAVATI drift boats give you adjustable foot rests with hundreds of different settings. This allows you to leverage the most power from your legs as possible for those times when raw manpower is needed. This feature comes in handy especially when you're taking turns rowing. One latch on each side lets you change the setting in seconds.

BULL-NOSE DESIGN

Pavati's Bull-Nose design bow cuts water and acts like a ramp if you hit rocks.
HONEYCOMB FLOOR RIBS

Our patent pending Honeycomb Floor Ribs - lightweight & strong - like airplane wings.

PAVATI'S EXCLUSIVE NO EXTRUSION SEAMS

Since its first hull hit the water, PAVATI has been obsessed with performance at every angle. This is evident in our industry exclusive "No extruded seams" construction. The old boat makers have been using the same extruded cap construction for more than 40 years. It has worked fine, but was heavy and needed improvement. Only recently has the CNC cut, computer designed edge to edge manufacturing been possible, and PAVATI has embraced it fully. Using state of the art software PAVATI's engineers have pushed the envelope once again by eliminated the extruded caps on every seam of a traditional aluminum drifter. This cuts out weight- lots of weight. It also eliminates the external chine's that are so notorious for grabbing currents and rocks. We put the strength where you need it -- not where you don't. Our boat has a "Hard Chine" that tracks better than any boat on the market, is lighter weight, yet still has an internal chine extrusion WITH 4 FULL LENGTH WELDS that gives you the strength you need to bounce off of rocks for years without worry. Look close at a PAVATI's seams and you will see a cleaner boat that is ready to slide off of rocks and slide through the water. No ugly, heavy, rock, and current grabbing extrusions here!

ULTRA-FLOW RADIUS TRANSOM

PAVATI is the only aluminum drift boat manufacturer with this feature. Although like most of PAVATI's unique features it does take more manufacturing time, the rounded transom has major benefits that far out weigh the extra labor. First and foremost- this makes a better rowing boat. The computer designed rounded transom creates lift- not drag. The old "tombstone" flat transoms require the drift boat to have much more rocker in the rear of the boat.

If they didn't, the transom would basically be a sail grabbing water and making it almost impossible to row. Our engineers found that the Ultra-Flow transom does the opposite (creates lift) - which allow us to lay the transom back down a little. This generates much more room in the back of the boat for a fisherman and/or coolers and gear.

Another benefit is the boat rides higher -- also reducing drag and enabling the boat to run shallower water. When the boat was drawn up PAVATI's designers also created a one-piece bottom and transom. This eliminated the seam that every other aluminum drift boat builder has on there transom. This also eliminates the piece of extruded aluminum stock they use to cap the seam- cutting down weight and a doing away with a weak point.

3 SUPER SLICK & TOUGH BOTTOM OPTIONS

PAVATI is offering three different bottom coatings. Each coating has it's place and if you cannot decide which one would work best for you, give us a call and we will help you make the best decision.

We rewrote the book on drift boat bottoms. Not only do we give you a high-tech dimpled bottom, we've re-lofted the bottom to give PAVATI drift boats less draft. Less draft equals a higher riding drift boat. You'll notice the first time you row a PAVATI that you'll hit fewer rocks. And since you're riding higher in the water, cross currents don't push you around. The fiberglass drift boat builders talk about how their boats slide over rocks. PAVATI drift boats float over rocks. You'll be amazed at how shallow and stable a drift boat can be.
  • 1. Powder Coating
  • 2. Advanced Kevlar Bottom
  • 3. UMHW Bottom (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene)
Read more below!

Powder Coated Bottom

Powdercoating is a super tough coating that comes standard on all PAVATI boat models. It slides off of rocks very well. Compare it to a 'Gluv-it' or a Fiberglass gel coat.

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form.

The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.

Advanced Kevlar Bottom

Bare aluminum bottoms grab rocks, don't slide very well, and are notorious for being noisy. We have solved all of the above. After doing some research on new materials available we stumbled upon a Kevlar coated polymer. Its original intention was for the inside of dump truck beds in rock quarries. It's so hard you can't get it off unless you use a grinder.

Police departments are even using it on the inside of their squad car doors for bullet protection. PAVATI is the first to use it on the bottoms of drift boats but we expect it to be an industry standard very soon. It slides over rocks and takes a beating, then asks for more. An added bonus is it deadens sound by up to 80%. PAVATI has put an end to the days of noisy aluminum drift boats.

Vaccuum Sealed UHMW Bottom

The UHMW bottom is hard to beat. It doesn't get any slicker than this stuff - and it's tough as nails. It's guaranteed for life and won't come off like a fiberglass gel coat. It's also super lightweight- adding less than 6 lbs on a 16ft boat. If you are running in a lot of shallow rivers and plan on hitting lots of rocks this option is highly recommended.

It has extremely long chains, with molecular weight numbering in the millions, usually between 2 and 6 million. The longer chain serves to transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone by strengthening intermolecular interactions. This results in a very tough material, with the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic presently made. It is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals, with exception of oxidizing acids. It also has extremely low moisture absorption, has a very low coefficient of friction, is self-lubricating, and is highly resistant to abrasion (15 times more resistant to abrasion than carbon steel). Its coefficient of friction is significantly lower than that of nylon and acetal, and is comparable to that of Teflon, but UHMWPE has better abrasion resistance than Teflon.

12 POSITION OARLOCK BLOCK - STANDARD

When you get your new PAVATI drifter you want everything to be perfect. Having the oar locks in the right place is essential. Twelve different positions ensures that you will get the most leverage you can for those times when you need all the horsepower you can muster.

If you want to fish 1-1-1 (three in a row), for the popular side drifting technique, you may want to move your row seat forward to balance the boat. This means you will need to move the oar locks too. No matter how you want to set your boat up, fly fishing, bait fishing, or pulling plugs, our simple clip locks allow you to move the oarlocks to the optimum position in seconds.

On top of that we offer you "Kenny Helfrich's" stainless steel - super strong - oar locks. Kenny, a third generation Eugene Oregon area guide, developed these oar locks to not only be super strong but to stop your oar from climbing up the side of the oar lock with each stroke as most do. If you've rowed a boat much you've probably noticed the thump, thump, after each stroke. That noise is the oar dropping back to the bottom of the oarlock. Also, in a real tough situation, these oar locks are designed to flex enough to allow your oars to pop out of these oar locks. Kenny says, "These are the last pair of oar locks you will ever own." -- That's good enough for us.

THE ULTIMATE ROWER'S SEAT - No straps or plastic seats here...

This is a sore subject with Chuck... Literally. He could never understand why the rower had to sit on uncomfortable ropes or straps all day or a hard plastic tractor seat, while the passengers got nice comfortable high backed padded seats. But this seemed to be the industry standard -- sore backs and sore butts. We set out to design the first row seat that was made for long days and lots of them. An oversized, overstuffed seat pad was a must. Then we designed a flexible, removable seat back that gives you the back support you need without intruding on those big strokes in tight situations. Now the rower's seat is the best spot in the boat- and it's about time.

"THE TRUTH" SCALES

How many times have you wanted to know how long your fish was to see if it was legal to keep? Or just to brag about? In the past you had to drag out a tape measure, if you could find it, or just guess. Not only was this inconvenient but a lot of fish died because we didn't get them back in the water in time. PAVATI continues to set the pace with scales on both sides of your drift boat as standard equipment. Measure your fish in seconds and let it go. Up to 60 inches. PAVATI drift boats not only catch fish, they save them too! Not a sticker, it's engraved right in the aluminum. Great for measuring leaders too. Another PAVATI first.

GRAB HANDLES

PAVATI has added handy grab handles to the sides of the hull. Just below the gunnel rail near the oar locks, we have programmed in computer cut holes. These make it easy to pick the boat up or portage around logs/skinny spots in the river.

MOTOR READY TRANSOM

All PAVATI drifters come with a motor ready transom ready to except up to a 10HP gas or electric motor. Unique to our transom is the inset "motor lock". Never again do you have to worry about your motor falling off on that bumpy washboard dirt road. Another PAVATI first.

PAVATI's Rod Holder Brackets (Gunnel Grabber)

Rod holders are always a pain in drift boats. PAVATI went after this problem with a raised butt holder to keep your reels off the floor, minimizing damage. Attaching rod holders to a PAVATI couldn't be any easier. No tools and no time.

PAVATI's Rod Butt Holder with Leader Roller

With PAVATI's adjustable floor system, you can adjust where the rod holder goes and take it out in seconds when you go crabbing or just don't need it. To top it off we found a neat place to put a leader roller. Do we need to say it again? Another PAVATI first.

THE ONLY SIDE FOOT RELEASE ANCHOR SYSTEM

Our exclusive offset foot release is the easiest and safest anchor release system available. We improved on the old foot stomp release by moving the foot pad off to the side -- not under your feet. This gets it out fo the way of fishing lines and keeps you from stomping on it by accident (but still allows you to get to it quickly). This foot release allows you to let the anchor go just by tapping it with your foot. Allowing you to stay on the oars until your drift boat has stopped. Pavati has multiple anchor release options to choose from. Give us a call and we can figure out which system will work best for you.

CUSTOM BENTLEY SEATS W/ DRY BOXES

PAVATI designers believe the seats should not only be lightweight, but comfortable. No crappy plastic throw-away seats here...

We got with custom seat manufacturers and designed a lightweight seat that has plenty of padding with a contoured back and seat pad for long hours on the water.

All of the hinges are aluminum and the seat pads are waterproof. These seats are designed to take on the elements and your back so no worries here. The seat boxes themselves are water tight and can be moved anywhere in the boat or on the beach for a nice camping chair.

Tackle Tower/ Rod Holder Combo

Pavati's Tackle Tower and Rod Hold Combo is one of the newest accessories that we offer. It supplies you with three locations to store your tackle boxes filled with lures, leaders, bobbers, knives, etc... And is also a combination Pavati Rod Holder.

Pizza Oven Compartment

This storage space is directly above the heater and doubles as an oven for cooking and warming foods plus the warming up of other items such as bait towels or rocks to warm up and put in your pockets on those ice cold fishing nights. It also acts as a heat shield protecting the deck preventing it from getting too hot when running the heater full blast.

PAVATI'S EXCLUSIVE NO EXTRUSION SEAMS

When Pavati marine first introduced the first true full level floor a couple of years ago, we never imagined what ideas would spring from it. New for 2011, PAVATI is proud to offer the first in-floor fish box. It ads no weight to the boat, keeps fish fresher than ever by putting them out of the sun and directly against the bottom of the boat. The rivers cold temperature is transmitted directly to your fish. It also cleans very quickly an easily. A great option if you catch and keep big fish.
