Aluminum wheels are lightweight and look good.

We also sell production trailers made by other manufacturers. One of our jobs as a dedicated business partner is to give you the best product for the price range you have to work with. We can save you money by substituting our high end and sometimes, overkill trailers with a variety of production trailers we buy from other manufacturers. They're great trailers and we buy them in quantity so you get an even better deal. We even recommend that you put your money in the boat first. After all, the boat is the important part. If there's money left over, put it in the trailer. See the different choices of trailers we have below.

Production Steel Galvanized Trailers are tough, priced right, and work great for salt water conditions. |
Production Aluminum drift boat trailers are also tough, look great, and light weight. |

Steel Powder Coated production trailers are tough and the least expensive way to go. Spend your money on the boat and still have a very nice trailer. Powder Coating is very resistant to the elements. Plus, for a little extra you can get your trailer painted to match you boat or truck. |
| Different trailers come standard with certain options. Our sales staff will ask you which option you're interested in. They include spare tire, tongue jack, aluminum, or steel wheels. Need something special? Just ask. | ![]() |
The tongue jack is an option we really like at PAVATI because we are moving trailers all the time in our shop and at shows. They really are back savers. We also like the clamp-on style because you can change the location when changing the winch stand for trailer balance. |
All trailers we make ourselves or production trailers we buy are spec- ed with bearing lube fittings. One of the secrets to these bearing lube systems is to keep the hub completely full of grease. This does not allow any room for water to get in, the biggest killer of bearings. Once filled, a couple pumps of grease a year keeps you running smooth. Be careful not to over pump or you stand a chance of pushing the inner bearing seal out of the hub, allowing water in. |
We got tired of the old style tie-down straps you have to throw over the boat that don't keep the boat centered on the trailer and come loose all the time. So we went looking and found a pretty neet strap-winch. All trailers we make or production trailers we buy are spec-ed with two 3000# rachet style tie-down straps. One on each side of the boat. It adds more cost but every time we're at the boat ramp it pays for itself. We think you'll like it too. |
These straps wind up into themselves when not in use and are bolted to the trailer to prevent thief. When you're ready to launch just squeeze the handle and pull to the rear. This disengages the winch to a free-wheel position. When loading you pull the strap out and hook it over the oar-lock and rachet the winch handle until desired tension is obtained. Off you go. This is the best system we have come across. It's fast, simple, and works. |
All our trailers are spec-ed with steps. This feature is often not standard or mentioned when you buy other brands due to the extra cost. We think this is a necessity on a trailer so we made it standard on all our trailers. |
A roller on the back of our drift boat trailers is standard equipment. There will be times you may have to load or unload your drift boat where there is little or no water due to the boat ramp, lack of boat ramp, low water conditions, etc. The roller is a must in these situations so we spec rollers on all our drift boat trailers for your convenience |
Adjustable Winch Stands - standard equipment of all our drift boat trailers.. Depending on the trailer, the boat you purchase, how you have it loaded, or if you add a kicker motor to your drift boat, it will change the balance of the trailer to where you may have negative tongue weight. This can be dangerous because the trailer is always trying to lift off in the front and may cause trailer sway.15% of the trailer and boat combined weight is a common multiplier but our attorney says not to recommend anything. There's lots of info on the Internet if you want to know more. With a tongue jack you can put as much as you want. Safety chains are often over-looked when purchasing a boat trailer. There are so many other decisions to be made on the boat itself, you may get side tracked. PAVATI makes sure you get good quality, heavy gauge safety chains and safety hooks to not only secure the trailer to your truck but a safety chain on your boat to the trailer also. From experience, we suggest you use both every time you hook up. NO EXPECTIONS. |
Trailer hitches should be simple and secure. We spec the over-center latch style hitch because you can easily tell if it has been secured. We also recommend you put a pin in the locking tab for extra security. If you've had a trailer come off before, you know what we mean. We use a barrel style padlock in place of a pin on our trailers. You only have to turn one number to unlock it and prevents thief. |

Depending on the trailer you choose will determine the light package you get. We do spec sealed beam style of lights with the rubber grommet mounting system on all our trailers. Drift boat trailers are often taken down unimproved roads. The rubber grommet acts as a cushion that will add longevity to the light element. This also makes them easy to change it. You just pop them out and pop and new one in to change. "On the Road Again" in a few minutes. |

Winches are spec-ed with rope or belts (optional) and have a minimum capacity of #3,000 pounds. Some like rope because you can easily change the rope when it wears out and you can buy rope anywhere. Some like the belts because the belt does not get bound into itself as rope will. Presently, our standard is rope. We find that if you use a good grade of rope it does not wind into itself that bad. We've had problems with the belt getting cut on the winch stand rubber bumper uprights on the first trip. So, we use rope as standard, belt is an option. |
